As usual I attach the Met. Office status report on our use of 
the data exchanged under the Auspices of the US-Europe
Data Exchange forum. Note Dave Tinkler wil be submitting 
a separate report on the Telecomms Status from the
Met. Office perspective.
     
I have tried to be brief so that this report can be included as part 
of the minutes of the meeting as was done last year. I will
present some of the aspects in more detail at the meeting.
     
It is attached both as a WORD97 document and plain text 
for those who have difficulty reading WORD attachments.
